Current anticipated traffic impacts

April 7 - April 20

  • Temporary one lane closures are expected on 67th Avenue NE during typical work hours (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday); two-way traffic will be maintained

March 24 - April 6

  • Temporary one lane closures are expected on 67th Avenue NE during typical work hours (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday); two-way traffic will be maintained
  • Temporary traffic delays at the intersection of 67th Avenue NE and 204th Street NE during typical work hours (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday) as the stop lights are upgraded; two-way traffic will be maintained

Previous detours for culvert installations

Weekends of July 19-23 and August 2-6

Two 3-day weekend full roadway closures are expected to occur in order to complete the installation of culverts for Prairie Creek and Portage Creek. These closures are expected to occur during the summer and not on weekends with major community events.

A detour route has been established; see the map below for more information on routes around the project area during these full closures. The City will notify the public in advance of these closures once they are scheduled.

Detour routes for nighttime work June 17-20

June 11

Crews will be working day and night shifts June 17-20 to excavate a narrow section of 67th Avenue NE between Lebanon Street and 211th Place NE. Nightly closures will begin at 7 p.m. and the roadway will re-open to traffic by 6 a.m. Both Lebanon Street and 211th Place NE will remain open during these closures. Below is a map to show the detour around the work area.
